You are entitled to be spared an interrogation. You may have to learn ways to change this kind of dynamic. You might consider making some playful remark to give him a hint that you don’t like those questions. For example, if he asks how much money you make, you could say, “That’s a personal question!” with a big smile and shocked look on your face. My books have more examples of things to say on dates to change this dynamic. If he gets your hints, he might have potential. If he doesn’t, and he continues to make your date more of an interrogation than a pleasant encounter, you are entitled to turn down a second date.
